Literary Pumpkin Display

Each student worked hard to create our Junie B. Jones, First Grader (at Last) pumpkin display.
These boys glued on the hair.
Mrs. Tracy traced a hand to be Junie B. ' hand right on a pumpkin.
Assembling the hand onto the sleeve was no easy task.
These girls made sure the final display was just right!
Enjoy your home at CCE for the next week Junie B.!
We hope you can come see Junie B. in our school lobby this week!   We also hope to see you at our school carnival Thursday night Oct 20!

How do scientists use thermometers to learn about our world?

Our little scientists learned how to read and record the temperature shown on a thermometer.
We measured and compared the temperatures of...
1.  Indoor air
2.  Projector fan
3. Refrigerator
4.  Freezer
5.  Outdoor air

Small Moments Writing Celebrations

It's a Publishing Party!    Students traveled from table to table reading their classmate's stories.
They put stickers and wrote compliments on the celebration page.

Reading Celebration

Students wrote about their celebrations as readers as well as their goals for the future.
